Mehn… Living in Nigeria has really kept me away from my Tumblr life. I knew I’d be busy when I moved here 6 months ago, but not this busy.

Bliss… Heavenly bliss. I’m home. (Oh yeah, I’ve lost a stupid amount of weight too! Yay right?!)

It’s 7:45am. But one glance outside the window and you’ll swear it’s 3:00pm. The sun’s out in full force. The heat is ridiculously unbearable! The children in the primary school beside my house are belting out the morning hymns at the school’s assembly. The street hawker is passing the front of my gate screaming, “BREAD AGEGEEEEEE!!!! AGEGE BREEEEAAAADDDDD!!!!”. The sound of okadas at a distance (motor bikes used for public transportation) going about their morning routine of picking customers going to work can be heard. The sweet smelling aroma from the road side restaurant drifts into my room. Akara!!!!

I’m in Lagos… I missed this place.

I’m back home… Fully. Finally!
